Objective

To replenish the local tree canopy.

Description

This project consists of the planting of parkway trees of various species throughout the Village.

Justification

The village has determined these areas are lacking existing parkway trees. Trees play an important role in air temperature regulation, stormwater management, animal habitat, and visual aesthetics. New tree plantings are also routinely requested by residents.
