Objective

To remove worn down roadway pavement markings and replace them with fresh, IDOT standard replacement markings.

Description

This project consists of the removal of worn pavement markings and their replacement with fresh markings at various locations within the village.

Justification

The identified pavement markings have deteriorated to the point where replacement is needed.

Description
January 10, 2025The remainder of the work is on hold until weather conditions improve. The remaining work is expected to be completed in the spring.
October 11, 2024Contractual maintenance of pavement markings on asphalt streets began late this week and is expected to be completed by the end of next week, weather permitting. Maintenance of pavement markings on concrete streets, which utilizes a different material and is performed by a different crew, is expected to take place later this year.
October 4, 2024Work is expected to begin next week.
