This project consists of the reconstruction of related sidewalk ramps at intersections on Lincoln Avenue, Ridge Road, and Hugo Court. The project will account for any structures already in place.

North Ardmore Avenue Retaining Wall Project
This project consists of removal and installation of 52.5 feet of retaining wall along the northeast side of Ardmore Avenue Frontage road. The scope of work for the project includes removing and replacing existing curb and gutter, 2 foot wide resurfacing of the adjacent pavement, removal of trees in conflict, and clearing and restoring the parkway behind the retaining wall.

Central Boulevard Improvement Project
This project consists of the rehabilitation of East Central Boulevard from Cornell Avenue to Villa Avenue and South Myrtle Avenue from Kenilworth Street to Central Boulevard, and Cortesi Avenue from Kenilworth Street to Central Boulevard. The project includes combined sewer separation. Some selective water system and sanitary sewer system improvements are also included.

2015 Concrete Street Improvement Program
This project consists of improvements on various streets in the Village of Villa Park. The total length of the improvements is approximately 5,600 lineal feet. The scope of work includes Portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement, Portland cement concrete (PCC) pavement patching, Portland cement concrete (PCC) surface diamond grinding, combination concrete curb and gutter removal and replacement, structure adjustments, pavement markings, and other related and incidental work efforts.

Cornell Pumping Station Generator Replacement
This project consists of the removal of the old diesel powered emergency generator at the South Cornell Pumping Station and its replacement with a new, natural gas powered emergency generator.

2019 Crack Sealing Program
The program consists of the filling and resealing of damaged asphalt pavements throughout the Village in order to extend the projected life of the roadway. The program is combined with other local towns as part of a singular contract, and is being bid by the Village of Woodridge.

Harvard Avenue (Jefferson Park to Plymouth)
This project consists of improvements on North Harvard Avenue from Jefferson Park to Plymouth Street. The project consists of installing approximately 1,800 linear feet of 8” water main, including fire hydrants, valves and water services. The project also includes pavement removal, aggregate base course, Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course, Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, curb and gutter installation, sidewalk removal and replacement, driveway pavement removal and replacement, adjusting sanitary services, storm sewer removal and replacement and parkway restoration.

Harvard Avenue Pavement Widening
This project consists of the widening of the pavement on North Harvard Avenue from Armitage Avenue to the south dead end. The existing pavement is located in the west half of the right-of-way and is in the Village of Addison. This project would provide for the construction of several feet of additional pavement in the east half of the right-of-way in the Village of Villa Park. Construction would be completed in cooperation with the Village of Addison, and would be coordinated with the resurfacing of their portion of the roadway.

2016 Home Avenue Water Tower Grounding Project
This project consists of the installation of electrical grounding equipment on and adjacent to the water tower located at 11 West Home Avenue. The project also includes other related work, including earthwork and grading, removal and replacement of chain line fence, installation of a concrete spill pad, and placement of topsoil and sod.

Maple Area Improvement Project
This project consists of road pavement reconstruction of areas of Maple, Pine, Oak, Myrtle, Summit, and Division and the separation of any combined sewers located in those areas. The sanitary sewer separation and related work for Maple Area Improvement Project were financed by the Water Pollution Control Loan Program (WPCLP) State Revolving Fund (SRF). The SRF program is administered by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency and receives a portion of its money to fund these types of projects from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Plymouth Street Improvement Project
This project consists of improving Plymouth Street from Ardmore Avenue to Villa Avenue in the Village of Villa Park which includes hot-mix asphalt (HMA) resurfacing and HMA pavement reconstruction. The total length of improvements is 2,594 feet (0.49 mile). The pavement resurfacing areas will consist of 2” of HMA surface course and ¾” of polymerized leveling binder. These resurfacing areas will also have pavement patching and spot curb and gutter replacement based on field conditions. In addition, there will be sidewalk replacement at intersections to meet the Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), driveway reconstruction, drainage and utility improvements, pavement markings, signing, erosion & sediment control, and landscaping.

Princeton Avenue Improvement Project
The Project consists of the removal of approximately 800 feet of combined sewer and its replacement with separated storm and sanitary sewers, the replacement of approximately 110 feet of water main, and the complete reconstruction of the road pavement.

North Princeton Water Main Improvement Project
This project consists of the replacement of the existing water main on North Princeton Avenue from Terrace Street to Ridge Road in the Village of Villa Park with approximately 1,200 lineal feet of new eight inch (8)” ductile iron water main. The project also includes the installation of new valves and valve vaults, fire hydrant assemblies, water services, and all necessary restoration and related work.

2023 Rebuild Illinois Resurfacing

Route 83 Lift Station
This Project consists of the replacement of as existing sanitary lift station including demolition of various surface amenities including the tops of the existing wet well as well as the associated piping and pumps to 20 feet below grade, replacing with submersible pumps, electronic controls, and piping; tying into the existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system and all other modifications necessary to have a fully operating lift station.

2019 Sewer Rehabilitation Program
The Village has identified areas of the sewer network that are in need of rehabilitation. The rehabilitation efforts will reduce the inflow and infiltration (I/I) of both stormwater and debris into the sanitary sewer system, thus lessening both the frequency and severity of sewer surcharges and sewer backups. The life of the existing sewer will also be extended.
