Construction activity related to The Union Villa Park near the Villa Park Recreation Center (320 E. Wildwood Ave.) is set to begin in late January, weather permitting, with demolition and initial site work. Residents should expect increased construction traffic and periodic disruptions in the area as work begins.
Construction fencing is now in place along Wildwood Ave., reducing street width and prompting temporary “No Parking” restrictions. The Village is working to make this area a permanent no-parking zone to ensure safe access to the VPRC.
Free public parking is still available in the vicinity of S. Villa Ave. For specific locations, please refer to our parking map.
