How to Register Online and Set Up Your New Account on CivicRec

Parents First

When creating a new account, entering the parent's/adult's information is extremely important. The first person on the account created will be the default payer/head of household and must be an adult. Your username will be the email address entered as the Parent/Guardian’s primary email.

Text and Email Opt-in

Villa Park Parks & Recreation will be sharing information about class cancellations and facility closures (including specific areas such as the pool, gymnasium, etc.) via text message and/or email. 

  • Recipients can reply to SMS messages, but they will receive no response.
  • To opt-in to text messaging services, select Can Receive Text messages.

Your information will never be sold and will only be used to send alerts about the topics you have memberships or are enrolled in.

Username

Your username will always be your email address. You have the option of adding additional email addresses where you wish to receive important updates.

Password

Passwords need to be at least 8 characters in length and include at least 3 of the following: Capital letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. If you have forgotten your password, please select "forgot password" to reset it at any time.

Emergency Contact

You are required to add one emergency contact to your account profile. Be prepared to enter the emergency contact's first and last name, relationship to the person, phone number, and email address.

Set Up Your Household Account to Begin Registering

  • On desktop computers, select Log In/Create Account in the upper left corner then select Create Your Villa Park, IL Account.
  • On mobile devices, select Account in the upper right corner and then select Sign Up.
  • Fill in the form as completely as possible. All of the fields with an asterisk (*) are mandatory and your account cannot be created without completing these sections. You also need to add one emergency contact to your account. You’ll have an opportunity to add family members to your household later.
  • To receive text alerts about program cancellations and facility closures, select Can Receive Text Messages.
  • Add additional household members (spouse, children, etc.) at any time in your account settings. 
    • Please keep your entire household on one account.
    • If you do not see your family member as a selection, please click on add family member.
    • Choose your child's current Grade for Youth Sports Leagues and After-School Enrichment classes.

Verify your Account Email:

  • Click on the CivicRec Link in the email automatically sent to you after you set up your account.
  • Log in using the username and password in the email.
  • Hover over your name and click the edit (pencil) icon.
  • Enter your desired password and confirm the password.
  • Note: Your password must be at least 8 characters long
  • Note: Your password must contain at least 3 of the following:
  • Lower case letters
  • Upper case letters
  • Numbers
  • Special characters (@, #, &…)

That’s it! Now you’re ready to register for Villa Park Parks & Recreation programs! 

Drop Off

Bring your completed registration form and payment (cash, check or money order) directly to Villa Park Recreation Center at 320 E. Wildwood Ave.

After Hours

For convenient after-hours drop-off, you can drop your registration form in our boxes, adjacent to the main entrance of the Villa Park Recreation Center. Please do not leave cash and please be certain that your check is signed. A service fee of $40 is assessed for any NSF checks.
