2025 Villa Park Thursday Summer Concerts

June 5: Petty Cash

Entertaining crowds of all sizes in Chicago for over 10 years, Petty Cash is a high-octane stage show appropriate for old rockers, baby rockers and everything in between. As Chicagoland’s ultimate Tom Petty / Johnny Cash cover band, this group is sure to get you up and dance in the aisles with classic tunes you’ve enjoyed for years. Petty Cash is the product of five musicians with combined years of musical experience of roughly...1,000! Don’t miss their stop in Villa Park!

June 12: Classical Beat

This unique band consists of classically trained musicians who love to rock, and rock musicians who embrace all genres. They believe music has no boundaries, breaking down barriers to create a seamless fusion that resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.

June 19: Rosie & The Rivets

Rosie & the Rivets perform an electrifying female-fronted retrospective tribute to the first ten years (1954-1964) of Rock & Roll. Along with early Rock & Roll favorites, you’ll hear Girl Group, Rockabilly, R&B, Surf, and British Invasion, featuring Rosie’s powerful and versatile voice. Make no mistake, this is not your typical ‘oldies playing oldies’ band. Rosie & The Rivets are a high-energy stage show that’s fresh and fun for all ages. Audiences have a hard time staying in their seats and concerts often turn into dance parties!

June 26: Murley Music

Murley’s music fuses rock, funk, and never turns away from a deep jam. They have been featured in independent films, podcasts, station IDs, and on the area’s largest FM radio station 93.1 WXRT. All members hail from the northwest suburbs and come from families with rich musical histories. Murley has been a part of the Chicago music scene since 2005, performing at nearly every city venue and countless city festivals in the Chicagoland area. Guitarists Scott Burdsall and Ryan Curtis, drummer David Wilson, and bassist Matthew Robinson have played hundreds of shows over the history of the band, and many more as regular gigging musicians on the scene.

Party rock by dads and for dads. Aiming to please since 2017.

Currently based in Chicago, Nick Psyhogios has been performing as Chicago’s Own Piano Man with a large repertoire of music ranging from Billy Joel, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Otis Redding, Jerry Lee Lewis, and more. Nick is a lifelong musician, songwriter, & producer; self-taught on several instruments including piano and guitar. In the late 1970’s and 1980’s Nick was in a band called “Stagger” which evolved into “Ruffian”. Ruffian performed at several Chicagofests and traveled the country. Ruffian also opened for a diverse group of acts including The Ramones, Brian Adams, Greg Kihn, Tower of Power, Dion, and Survivor. The band attracted the attention of Paul Anka, who signed them in 1984. They recorded an album in LA where Nick worked side-by-side with David Foster, Paul Anka, and Patrick Simmons of the Doobie Brothers.

August 21: The Messengers

Night after night, show after show, The Messengers leave audiences dancing, singing, and screaming for more. Their incredible harmony and raw power drive their sound, delivering a dynamic mix of pop, rock, and modern country that captivates listeners. The band’s extensive set list features sing-along favorites and unexpected medleys that blend classic hits with today’s current chart-toppers. With a vast repertoire that spans from Miranda Lambert to Mumford & Sons and from Queen to Pitbull, The Messengers offer a diverse and engaging experience.

August 28: Mackenzie O'Brien Band

The Mackenzie O’Brien Band has defied odds by quickly becoming Chicagoland’s #1 young country band. Despite being young (25 to 35 years old) and female led, the band has moved from small venues to bigger bars and festivals, including their headlining fests in four states, including Country Thunder. The band is one of the few in Chicagoland that can play all covers and, if requested, play all original songs or a mix of both!
